Video Capture
Video Capture For DVD BurningVideo capture for DVD purposes is not really any more complicated than video capture alone. When making a DVD you capture the footage you need, them edit the footage, adding graphics, titles, transitions etc. Then you need to output the footage in a format that is DVD compliant. Your individual video capture card will have information on this compliancy. Whether you video capture with firewire in the digital format (DV) or you are video capture from analog sources (s-vhs or composite) the capture process is the same. Once captured you will create your DVD project in your DVD authoring software (DVDIt LE or other software). This is the process of creating a DVD and then burning it to a disk after you have finished video capture of footage to your hard drive. If you have questions, e-mail us at video-editing@mchsi.com, we want to help you with your individual editing needs. Good luck with video capture !! Roger Bussey
