Home DVD Player

Ok, you want to make the step to find the best home DVD player, but which one do I buy? Well DVD players have come down so much in price and the capabilities have increased in the past couple of years that most of the decks available are going to do the trick. You can spend anywhere from $50 to hundreds of dollars to find the best home DVD player. I have found that Apex have some of the best home DVD player machines that play pretty much all of the formats of DVD's that you can produce yourself with your computer or with a stand alone DVD recorder. Newer home DVD players have added the capability to play DVD formats like DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW. These are the formats usually associated with DVD burners for your computer and DVD recorders. I don't think you need to spend a lot to find the a good home DVD player. The more you spend the more bells and whistles you get. But, the basic playing capability is there. The big thing now is "progressive scan" DVD players. Most new home DVD players are progressive scan. So making a choice for the best home DVD player is really up to you. Many different brands and many different prices. Just don't go overboard. If you have questions, e-mail us at video-editing@mchsi.comhome DVD player for you!! Roger Bussey
